The EA has updated its RPS (C7) since its original issue in April this year. The RPS sets out when you can delay and reschedule some emissions to air and water monitoring, and other environmental monitoring because of COVID-19 restrictions. The update has been made to add the EA’s regulatory position on monitoring emissions for water discharge and groundwater activities permits. The expiry date for the RPS has also been extended to 30 September 2020.
