The government has published an update to the ‘Admission and care of residents during COVID-19 incident in a care home’ guidance which was rolled out on 2 April 2020. The update reflects the support package for care homes and the latest advice on testing and infection prevention and control.
Of specific interest to the HWMA members are Annexes G and J which relate to decontamination (and the resultant waste) and waste disposal.
